Unable to hide from Uncle Sam, Fat Joe will serve four months in jail for failing to pay income tax.
The "Lean Back" rapper, whose legal name is Joseph Cartagena, was given the sentence in Newark federal court on Monday (June 24).
Admitting to his wrongdoing, the 42-year-old Terror Squad Entertainment CEO plead guilty for failing to pay taxes on more than $1million in 2007 and 2008.
Facing a maximum of two years, his 4-month sentence also includes a $15,000 fine and one-year supervised release. Joe will report to prison by August 26th.
