Chibok Schoolgirls Release Story Is False - Oby Ezekwesili Reacts

Some minutes ago, news broke that the abducted Chibok schoolgirls has been rescued and are in the custody of the military in Maimalari Barracks in Maiduguri, Borno State. Unfortunately, the story has been confirmed false.



The Director Defence Information, Major-General Chris Olukolade, had erroneously stated the girls had been released, only to issue a rejoinder stating that the two bus loads conveying other girls
to the barracks did not have the Chibok girls who have been in captivity for five months.
