Rihanna Covered In Snakes For British GQ's 25th Anniversary Issue

Adding another magazine cover to her credit, Rihanna fronts the 25th anniversary special edition of British GQ.

Set to hit newsstands on October 31st, the "We Found Love" hitmaker teamed up with artist Damien Hirst to create a Medusa-like look, which featured hair made out of snakes, yellow contact lenses and a massive boa around her neck.

As previously reported by GossipCenter, the 25-year-old singer received backlash after she conducted a mini-photo shoot outside of a mosque in Abu Dhabi last Sunday (October 20).

The leadership of the mosque released a statement referring to the unauthorized actions of a certain "singer," which read:

"In the event of behavior that violates the moral codes of access to the mosque, or other visit regulation - such as taking inappropriate pictures, posing in ways that are improper in the context of a sacred place, talking loudly or eating- the violators are directed in a polite manner that reflects the civilization and tolerate attributes of Islam."

"Here, the Centre refers to a recent incident, involving a singer who came for a private visit to the mosque, at a gate that is not reserved for visitors, without prior coordination with the Centre's management and without identifying herself."

"She left without entering the mosque, after being asked to do so, due to the fact that she had taken some pictures that do not conform with the conditions and regulations put in place by the Centre's management to regular visits in a way that takes the status and sanctity of the mosque into consideration."
