Sherifat Olagunju, one of the wives of the late icon, told NET that Fatai Rolling Dollar had been diagnosed with Cancer while on tour in the US sometime last year.
‘We confirmed it when he returned to Lagos. He was a loving and caring husband. He not only saw me as a wife, but also as his child. We had many plans together and I will miss him greatly‘, Sherifat narrated amidst sobs.
Sherifat bore two children – a boy (6) and girl (3) for the late veteran musician.
Fatai died yester-morning at Marritol Hospital, Sam Sonibare Street in Surulere.
